COUNTY PARENTS - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED OR THEY WILL BE ASSIGNED
Good Afternoon Everyone,
The league has assigned us volunteer positions for the county meet. These must be fulfilled by our team. Unfortunately, Tim and I are unavailable for these as I am the meet referee and Tim is an official. Please respond with what position you'd like to volunteer for. This must be filled by Friday. If we don't have volunteers, this will be assigned. Failure to show up for your shift will result in a fine by the league. Please pay attention to the sessions and positions. These are set by the league and cannot be changed.
S1 (15-18) Security/Ushers In 2025, we will NOT be responsible for crowd control and to assist spectators find their seats. We will be set up in various areas around the pool deck to ensure parents are not on-deck, to help get items from parents to their swimmers if something is forgotten, and to assist some of the younger swimmers getting out of the pool. (Pool entrance, Staging area, Pool Deck , Warm-up Area, Photo Area, Hospitality, etc) 4:30 PM N/A NFP S1 (15-18) Timers Timers are to provide their own stopwatch (obtain from your team). You will be assigned a lane or the position of back-up timer. You will provide the stopwatch times for each event. You will be working at the start end of the pool. 4:45 PM JBRS NFP S2 (9-10) Staging-1-Bleacher You will be responsible for lining up and checking in the swimmers and escorting them to the starting area of the pool. You will be working at the start end of the pool. 8:30 AM RICH NFP S5 (11-12) Heat Sheets You will be responsible for selling Heat Sheets and providing information and directions to the spectators. 2:00 PM MR NFP S5 (11-12) Staging-1-Bleacher You will be responsible for lining up and checking in the swimmers and escorting them to the starting area of the pool.
