Hello Barracudas!

We are super excited to swim our last meet of the season at home vs Parkview! I am attaching the heat sheet and sponsor sheet to this email.

Our Meet Theme: Neon - and Senior Night - , We will run senior recognition at 5:50 pm. 

Timeline for our meet:

Pool deck opens at 4:30 PM to set up chairs/spectators

Barracudas will arrive by 4:45 PM, warm up starting around 5:00 PM sharp

Pool is cleared for Parkview warm up at 5:25 PM

We will have our timers meeting on the 2nd floor of the clubhouse at 5:30 sharp. All timers for both halves should report to this meeting. Stroke and Turn meeting will also be at 5:30 pm

Senior Night will begin at 5:50.

We will start at 6 pm sharp!

Weather Delay:

The forecast looks to be sunny, but in the case of a delay we ask all swimmers and families to return to their cars. We follow protocol for what events to move through from the league in case of an extended delay and will push as much as possible to finish out the meet!

Facility Layout:

North Forke team area will be near the fireplace at the entrance of the pool. PARENTS - PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR ATHLETES ARE IN THIS AREA AND ARE LISTENING TO THE TEAM AREA PARENTS. This is super important to ensure that athletes are getting to the staging area in time for their race. We have had some trouble finding athletes and/or getting the older athletes to follow direction. Please speak to your swimmers and have them remain in this area and follow directions.

North Forke parent seating area is on the near side of the pool. Please leave a walkway for timers and stroke and turn to pass through. If you are on the front row, please refrain from having your swimmers coming to meet you during the meet. This area needs to remain free from standing as it is the viewpoint for the starter/timers. Additonally, please do not sit or congregate in the Starter area.

Staging area will be on the far side of the pool along side the blocks.

We ask that parents refrain from hanging out around and behind timers unless they are actively watching a race, we want to make sure both ends of the pool stay as traffic free as possible. There will be no filming allowed from behind the blocks.

Parking:

Our parking lot is small and is first come first serve. The back portion of the lot is reserved for tennis, so please DO NOT park there. No swimmers are allowed on the tennis courts at any time. As you pull into the neighborhood, you will see no parking signs on the right side of the street along that road. Please adhere to only parking on the left side of the street to allow traffic flow in the neighborhood to continue as well as in the case of an emergency it leaves a clear path for emergency vehicles. 

Concession Stand:

Concession stand will be open for the duration of the meet! We have yummy food to feed your swimmers! We do take cash or card! 

Reminder - we are a smoke free, alcohol free and pet free facility! No Glass is allowed on the pool deck at any time!

We are going to have a fantastic meet! Bring your dancing shoes because our announcer is AWESOME! Let's swim FAST and have the best environment for all athletes!
