The Indoor "Georgia Tech Pool" Experience

We are incredibly proud to host you at Gwinnett County's premier indoor aquatic venue. Featuring a 10-lane, 25-yard climate-controlled competition pool, this facility delivers a high-energy, fast-water, professional "Georgia Tech pool" style experience. The atmosphere is indoor-stadium electric, providing swimmers with the perfect professional backdrop to hit their personal bests!

Meet Timeline & Schedule

Please note: The facility remains open to the public until 6:00 PM. Expect increased activity and larger crowds upon arrival.

• 6:00 PM: Recommended Arrival Time (please note that pool will be in transition mode from day service to swim meet so we might need to have a patience )
• 6:10 PM: 1st Half Volunteer Check-in
• 6:15 PM - 6:35 PM: Warm-Ups (MPST: Lanes 1-5 | Visiting Team: Lanes 6-10)
• 6:25 PM: Volunteer Briefing (Timers and S&T Judges)
• 6:40 PM: Staging lineup
• 6:43 PM: National Anthem
• 6:45 PM: Meet Begins Promptly

Volunteer Information

• Requirements: We need 11 timers and 2 S&T judges from each team, per shift.
• Briefing: Timers and S&T judges will meet at 6:25 PM outside the computer room downstairs (behind the lifeguard stands/starting location). We highly recommend both 1st and 2nd half volunteers attend this briefing.
• Check-In/Switch:
  • 1st Half Volunteers:Check in at 6:10 PM.
  • 2nd Half Volunteers:Check in at Event 30.
  • Shift Switch:Occurs at Event 38.

Seating & Strict Spectator Deck Policy

Because our facility is an elite-level indoor competition venue, we have very strict safety and logistical guidelines that must be enforced:

• Strict Deck Access Policy: Parents and general spectators are strictly prohibited from the downstairs pool deck area. Only active on-duty volunteers, coaches, and swimmers are allowed on the pool deck level downstairs.
• Upstairs Spectator Seating: All families and spectators must sit in our spacious, upstairs spectator bleacher seating area which overlooks the competition lanes. This vantage point offers an incredible panoramic view of the action!
• Team Area: The swimmer area is located downstairs. The visiting team area is on the left side of the pool, near the scoreboard. Swimmers are NOT allowed to bring charis. They must sit on the bench bleachers for their designated zone.
• Valuables Warning: Since this is a public park with community access, we kindly ask that you do not bring valuables to the pool/park. It is best to leave valuable items safely at home.
• Parking: Ample parking is available, though there are no reserved spaces.

Food & Concessions

Our concession stand is located to the immediate left as you enter the main lobby of the aquatic center.

• Menu: Pizza, mac and cheese, chips, candy, drinks (water, soda, Gatorade), and delicious homemade food.
• Payment: The concession stand is CASH ONLY. Please remind your families to plan ahead!

Meet Logistics

• Heat Sheets: We will not have heat sheets for sale to the general public. , please encourage your families to access them digitally or print them at home before arriving.
• Results: Results will be posted in real-time on the Swimtopia app. Hard copies will also be posted outside the computer room downstairs.
• Inclement Weather: In the event of severe weather, all swimmers and families must completely clear the pool deck and return to their vehicles to wait safely. Please stay in contact via the cell numbers below.
