Hello Cooper’s Pond Aquaducks & North Forke Barracudas!

The River Oak Rapids are excited to be hosting your teams for a tri-meet this Thursday, June 11^th. We wanted to pass along a few details for you to share with your team members and volunteers.

We are located at 3100 River Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30044.

Warm-up schedule:
5:00– 5:20pm (River Oak)
5:20– 5:40pm (Cooper’s Pond)
5:40– 6:00pm (North Forke)

Volunteer & official meetings will be held at 5:40pm: Stroke & Turn/officials will meet at the starter stand, Timers will meet outside the main entrance, and Staging volunteers will meet by the baby pool. The meet will begin at 6:05pm.

Parking We do not have a large parking lot, so here are some things to keep in mind as you arrive at the pool on Thursday:

• Please do not arrive before 5:00pm, as we will be setting up for the event.
• Please only park in lined, actual parking spots in our lot – failure to do so may block access to emergency vehicles if access is needed.
• No parking on the grass or sidewalk at the entrance to the parking lot.
• No parking on the pine straw/islands inside the parking lot.
• Neighborhood parking is allowed on Maxie Lane and Chesterfield Drive, but only on the right-side of the street facing out/towards River Rd. Please remind your parents to not block any driveways or hydrants.
• Parking is also allowed at Lyew Dentistry after 6:00pm and Primrose Daycare after 6:45pm.
• Parking at Eagle’s Landing and Five Forks Middle is at your own risk. As of right now, no parking is allowed in the strip mall where Beans & Butter, Rustico, etc. are located.

I have attached a parking map that you are welcome to share with the team. Carpooling and ridesharing are greatly encouraged!

Bullpen Cooper’s Pond bullpen will be located to the left as you enter through the gate (close to the baby pool and staging areas). North Fork Pointe bullpen will be located under the pavilion between River Oak and concessions.

Visitor Seating You are more than welcome to sit on any side of the pool, but most of our team takes the far side (along the fence) and visitors the side closest to the restrooms.

Concessions We will be serving walking tacos, BBQ sandwiches, hot dogs, pizza, nachos, drinks, chips, & candy. We accept cash or Venmo. King of Pops will also be on site selling popsicles and a coffee vendor will be selling iced coffees.

We will not have heat sheets for sale at the meet, but a .pdf of the heat sheet will be sent on Wednesday to share with your team. We will have printed copies for coaches, bullpen, etc. at check-in on Thursday.

If inclement weather pops up, we will ask everyone to wait it out in their vehicles (we do not have an enclosed clubhouse). Our preferred meet make-up day is Monday.
