County Meet - July 11-13

Please read through this email in its entirety! It contains VERY important information for you and your swimmers for this weekend's meet.
ALL SWIMMERS WILL MEET THE COACHES OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOORS OF THE AQUATIC CENTER AT THEIR SPECIFIED TIMES. DO NOT BE LATE! IN FACT, BE 15 MINUTES EARLY!!! OUR COACHES WILL ONLY WAIT 5 MINUTES PAST THE MEET UP TIME BEFORE GOING INTO THE BUILDING. IF YOUR SWIMMER MISSES THEIR RACE, YOU WILL BE CHARGED $150.00. BE ON TIME! THERE ARE OVER 500 SWIMMERS ON DECK FOR EACH SESSION! PLEASE PLAN AHEAD! PARENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON DECK AT ANY TIME. COACHES WILL GET SWIMMERS TO PARENTS AFTER THEY ARE DONE.

Arrival time: 7:30 am

Parking: Please see: https://gatech.parkmobile.io/ to purchase parking pass. This site is controlled by Georgia Tech, please keep checking back for availability. A limited supply will be available for sale at the meet at a cost of $15 CASH ONLY. This keepsake booklet contains heat sheets for all sessions, team ads, graduating senior shout out and more.

Volunteers: Just like dual meets, it takes a team of volunteers to run the GCSL Championships. Teams will be assigned volunteer slots; it is expected that parents be able to work the shift assigned in its entirety. Please visit the check in table in the lobby prior to your shift report time for directions on where to report. All volunteers please sign a safe sport waiver prior to arrival HERE.
We have been assigned the following volunteer slots. Please note that these have been assigned based on who is swimming in the session/s. I need volunteers for these 5 jobs by end of day today. If no one volunteers, they will be assigned. Please don't make me do that! We only have 5 spots.
| S2 (9-10) | Heat Sheets | You will be responsible for selling Heat Sheets and providing information and directions to the spectators. | 11:30 PM | NFP |
| S3 (13-14) | Security/Ushers | In 2025, we will NOT be responsible for crowd control and to assist spectators find their seats. We will be set up in various areas around the pool deck to ensure parents are not on-deck, to help get items from parents to their swimmers if something is forgotten, and to assist some of the younger swimmers getting out of the pool. (Pool entrance, Staging area, Pool Deck , Warm-up Area, Photo Area, Hospitality, etc) | 12:15 AM | NFP |
| S3 (13-14) | Timers | Timers are to provide their own stopwatch (obtain from your team). You will be assigned a lane or the position of back-up timer. You will provide the stopwatch times for each event. You will be working at the start end of the pool. | 2:30 PM | NFP |

Deck Access: Due to rules by Georgia Tech, parents are NOT allowed on deck. Your team should communicate meeting procedures for your team. Please allow plenty of time for increased traffic on campus and arrive early!
Seating: ALL SEATING IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. There are no assigned seats and teams are not allowed to block off areas. Handicap seating is available and will require a pass issued by Georgia Tech. Please see the volunteer sign in table for directions.
Year-Round Clubs: Several area year-round club programs are league sponsors and will be set up in the hallway outside of the spectator area. If your swimmer has an interest in continuing their training, please check them out!
