MEET #4 - AWAY at Snellville Supersonics

The Supersonics have been kind enough to send us a welcome letter that contains all of the important information we will need to enjoy the meet at their pool.  It is attached to this email.  Please read it very carefully.  Their schedule is different based on the availability of their pool, so please be prepared.  

Our entries and the volunteer schedule are attached to this email. Heat sheets will be sent as soon as they are available and will be on the Swimtopia app. They will not be sold at the meet.

Our warm ups will begin promptly at 6:00. We ask that you have your swimmers ready for warm up by 5:50, with their name and events marked up, and caps on. Meet schedules run very tight, so please make sure to be on time!

You are also welcome to bring your cooler along with you. Please remember to refrain from glass items and observe the league’s policy of no alcohol on the pool deck.

It is very important that all swimmers stay in the team area unless they are staging for a race. As stated in their welcome letter, our team area will be in the grass with no shade.  Please bring towels, blankets, chairs, tents, fans, and sunscreen!

All meet workers are required to check in upon arrival in the team area. Please remember, if you do not show for your work shift, there is a financial penalty. You may find a substitute if necessary. Please make sure your substitute knows to check in accordingly. As a reminder, all shifts must be worked by an adult and children may not accompany them for it.

Fun practice will be held Friday morning! Come get  your ribbons and have some fun.  Check with Coach Mark for details.

If your swimmer is qualified in the top 100 in any individual event for the Gwinnett County Championship Meet, please go to the website to declare whether they will participate.  This is an awesome season ending event that you do not want to miss!  It is held at Georgia Tech over a long weekend, and is truly an exceptional experience.  We will send lots of details soon, but we need to know if your swimmer will be available now!
